What: Bostock, a pastry I've never encountered before. Brioche soaked in orange/almond syrups, slathered in almond cream, twice baked, sprinkled with almond slivers and powdered sugar.
Who: Me and a cooler-than-thou hipster crowd.
Verdict: Delicious, crunchy around the crusts, soft in the middle. I want to eat it again.
